Nirvana's Bleach is the sound of a revolution being born in a recording studio that cost $606.17. Recorded in December 1988 at Reciprocal Recording with Jack Endino and released on Sub Pop in 1989, it introduced Kurt Cobain's songwriting — raw, heavy, and shot through with unexpected melody — to a world that wasn't yet ready for what would come next.

"Blew" opens with a sludgy, hypnotic riff that sets the tone for the whole album — heavier and more overtly punk than Nevermind, but already crackling with the melodic instincts that would change rock music. "About a Girl" is a perfect pop song hiding inside a grunge record, "Negative Creep" is pure cathartic fury, and "School" delivers one of Cobain's most primal vocal performances. Bleach sold 40,000 copies before Nevermind broke — then millions more as the world caught up.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
