Eat a Peach, the Allman Brothers Band's third studio album was produced by the legendary Tom Dowd and released in the U.S. on February 12, 1972. After their At Fillmore East success, the band started work on the project, though several members were grappling with heroin addiction and had to be hospitalized to address the issue. Unfortunately, this LP became the last to feature leader/founder Duane Allman, who tragically died in a Macon, Georgia motorcycle crash.
