Temples, a psychedelic rock band from Kettering, England, have unveiled their fourth album, "Exotico." Produced by Sean Ono Lennon and mixed by Dave Fridmann, the album dives into a mix of psychedelia, krautrock, and dream pop. Their collaboration with Lennon began in 2020 with the single "Paraphernalia," and they recorded "Exotico" at his New York studio. The concept revolves around "phantom islands" – places once believed to exist but later disproven. James Bagshaw, Tom Walmsley, Adam Smith, and Rens Ottink envision this album as an escape and a significant shift from their debut "Sun Structures." Formed in 2012, Temples released "Shelter Song" that year, followed by their debut album in 2014, which ranked #7 in the UK.
