After debuting with energetic records that captured the wild spirit of garage rock and the trippy vibe of psychedelic warriors, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard's third album, Eyes Like the Sky, marked a delightful change of pace. They collaborated with singer (and father of the group's talented harmonica and keyboard player Ambrose Kenny-Smith) Broderick Smith to create what they affectionately called a Western audio book. In a warm, gritty voice, Smith shared a captivating tale of guns, murder, and the American frontier, while the band accompanied him with a lively spaghetti western soundtrack. It's a wonderful pairing—Smith's vocals bring genuine weight, and the band skillfully conjures clouds of dust and sweat behind him. Guitarists Stu Mackenzie, Cook Craig, and Joey Walker do an especially fantastic job of building immersive atmosphere. Morricone himself would have felt proud of their efforts. The story is intense and compelling, echoing familiar themes, but the music breathes fresh life into it.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.

Hold up… what were we saying?
