Grimes, created in 2006 by Vancouver-born Claire Boucher, has become a recognized project since 2010. Moving to Montreal, the artist joined the Lab Synthèse scene at a 4600sq ft re-appropriated factory. Visions, Grimes' fourth release in a two-year span, showcases her production capabilities in a unique way, combining genres such as Witchhouse, Lo-Fi R&B, New Jack Swing, IDM, New Age, K-Pop, Industrial, and Glitch. As a curator of culture, Grimes remains innovatively flexible and continually evolving.
