Experience the unique and masterful sound of Cut Worms, the creation of singer-songwriter Max Clarke. With a modern twist on traditional American rock-n-roll, Clarke's music is both polished and unconventional. He has been compared to greats like Buddy Holly and the Everly Brothers, and has been described as "Lynchian." Since 2016, Cut Worms has gained a loyal following among fans of artists like Nick Lowe, Norah Jones, and Wilco. On his third self-titled album, Clarke presents a refined version of his craft, produced and performed almost entirely by himself. This album is a blend of his earlier home-recorded EP, 'Alien Sunset,' and the hi-fi influences from his recent album, 'Nobody Lives Here Anymore.' From declarations of love to commentary on our chaotic cultural climate, and even a tribute to the late Bobby Fuller, each track is filled with reverb, brass, and pure sincerity.
