Chastity Belt, spanning a decade plus with Julia Shapiro (guitar, vocals), Lydia Lund (guitar, vocals), Gretchen Grimm (drums, vocals), and Annie Truscott (bass, vocals)have created a resonant body of work with Live Laugh Love as a natural continuation. With engineer Samur Khouja in LA, they explored the joys of creative exploration and returned to renowned engineer Heba Kadry for mastering, creating an album of warmth and self-reflection. Firmly anchored in existential grappling, the record radiates a quiet confidence and a trust in time and friendship. Intricate parts layer over each other, allowing lush soundscapes that increase the album's depth.
