Moaning's self-titled debut is a charged, restless blast of Los Angeles post-punk that channels the anxiety of an uncertain era into songs that are simultaneously dark and euphoric. Released in 2018 on Sub Pop, it announced Sean Solomon, Pascal Stevenson, and Andrew MacKelvie as one of the most compelling bands to emerge from L.A.'s DIY scene.

Solomon's vocals ride atop cavernous guitars and driving rhythms across songs like "Don't Go," which pairs a soaring chorus with lyrics about emotional paralysis, and the pummeling "Artificial," which collapses inward with controlled intensity. The band toggles between brooding introspection and explosive release with the confidence of veterans twice their age. Produced by Alex Newport (At the Drive-In, Bloc Party), the album captures a band wrestling with duality — hope and despair, noise and melody, isolation and connection — and finding catharsis in the tension between them.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
