Tool - Opiate - Vinyl Record *
Tool's Opiate EP is the debut release that introduced one of the most important bands in heavy music — a six-track statement of purpose that fuses the band's metallic heaviness, dark humor, and confrontational intelligence into a sound that would reshape alternative metal for decades to come. Released in 1992 on Zoo Entertainment, it captures Maynard James Keenan, Adam Jones, Paul D'Amour, and Danny Carey at their rawest and most direct.
"Hush" is a snarling, aggressive blast that takes aim at censorship with characteristic Tool provocation. "Sweat" locks into a grinding riff that showcases Adam Jones's massive guitar tone, "Cold and Ugly" seethes with coiled intensity, and the title track — a seven-minute epic — previews the ambitious, progressive tendencies that would flower on Undertow and Ænima. Before the sprawling concept albums and platinum sales, Tool started here: angry, focused, and impossibly tight.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
