The Wombats' third album turns ten, and it has aged into the most interesting record they made. Glitterbug was written while Matthew Murphy was living in Los Angeles and coming apart a little, so the songs pair bright synth pop with lyrics about insomnia, long distance relationships and behaving badly at parties you did not want to attend.
Greek Tragedy is the one that found a second life years later when a remix took over the internet, and that Oliver Nelson version closes this edition as a bonus track. Around it sit Give Me A Try, Emoticons, Your Body Is A Weapon and Be Your Shadow, produced by Mark Crew with the band and built for rooms much larger than the ones they started in.
