Ten years on, Peripheral Vision still sounds like the moment Turnover figured out who they were. Released May 4, 2015 on Run For Cover, it traded the pop punk of their debut for something hazier and slower burning, all reverb soaked guitars and Austin Getz singing like he is half asleep and completely certain. Kerrang! called it a tour de force. A decade of touring and three more albums followed, and a lot of bands have tried to sound like this since.
This 10 Year Anniversary Edition keeps the iconic cover art and rebuilds everything around it, with a new lyric poster and a printed photo inner sleeve. Two bonus tracks from the era are included, "Humblest Pleasures" and "Change Irreversible." Pressed on glow in the dark vinyl, limited to 1,500 copies.
Worth having on the shelf, and worth turning the lights off for.
