Tigers Jaw's self-titled debut is the record that first carried the Scranton, Pennsylvania band beyond their local scene, and it still sits at the heart of their catalog. Recorded in early 2008 and first issued on CD that September, it found its long-term home at Run For Cover Records, which has kept it on vinyl through more than ten pressings.

The songs pair bright, upbeat indie rock with lyrics about death, friendship and growing up, delivered with a wry, hopeful candor that made the band a cornerstone of the late-2000s emo revival. From the opening rush of "The Sun" through "Plane Vs Tank Vs Submarine", "Chemicals" and the closing "Never Saw It Coming", the ten songs move quickly and land hard on feeling, the kind of record that sends even jaded listeners back to their more careless days.

This edition is pressed on cheese yellow vinyl. A great starting point for anyone new to the band, and an easy pickup for collectors filling out their Run For Cover shelf.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
