This Is Lorelei - The Singer in My Band - Vinyl Record
The Singer in My Band is the first Matador album from This Is Lorelei, the songwriting project of Nate Amos, also one half of Water From Your Eyes. Amos made it largely on his own, engineering, producing and performing nearly everything in the apartment where he records most of his music, with final touches added at his parents' house in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.
The few guests are family. His father, bluegrass musician Bob Amos, plays a blistering banjo lead on the title track, while his sister Sarah Amos and partner Al Nardo add occasional vocals. Bluegrass shapes the whole record, less as a sound than as a set of principles: every song has to stand on melody, lyrics and chord changes alone. That economy makes it the most direct album in the Lorelei catalog, from the bright "Billy Came Back" to the closing "Don't You Cry in Lonesomeness."
A warm, homespun record for fans of intimate indie songwriting. Put it on for a quiet evening.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
