Dots And Loops is Stereolab at their most weightless. Recorded in 1997 with John McEntire in Chicago and Andi Toma of Mouse On Mars in Dusseldorf, it trades the guitar drone of earlier records for vibraphone, brushed drums, bossa nova lilt and edits that feel like the tape was cut with scissors and taped back together in a better order. "Miss Modular" is the perfect entry point, "Brakhage" opens with that unhurried groove, and "Refractions In The Plastic Pulse" takes up a full side and never drags. It is the album that made post-rock sound like lounge music and vice versa. This 2LP edition uses the 2019 remaster cut from the original half-inch tapes by Bo Kondren at Calyx Mastering in Berlin, overseen by Tim Gane, in a 5mm printed sleeve with printed inners and a protective outer bag. It does not include the bonus material from the discontinued 3LP version. Ideal late-evening listening.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
