St. Vincent - Marry Me - Vinyl Record
Marry Me is the 2007 debut album from St. Vincent, the project of Dallas-raised singer, songwriter and guitarist Annie Clark. Released by Beggars Banquet, it takes its title from a running joke on Arrested Development. Clark began the songs before joining The Polyphonic Spree, finished them while touring with the band, and recorded much of the album in her bedroom in Texas. Sufjan Stevens heard it and invited her to join his band and open his shows.
The record already shows the range she would build on for years. Chamber pop strings and woodwinds sit next to jagged guitar, and a sweet melody can turn sharp without warning. "Now, Now" opens with hushed tension, "Jesus Saves, I Spend" is bright and playful, and "Paris Is Burning" sways like a strange little cabaret number. Pianist Mike Garson, known for his long run with David Bowie, guests on grand piano.
This Beggars Banquet LP comes with a lyrics insert. A rewarding look at where it all began.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
