August 12, 2011, Williamsburg Park in Brooklyn. Nobody in the crowd knew it, but this was the last time Sonic Youth would play in the United States. The band folded within months, and the set they left behind is the one they would have wanted as a document: seventeen songs pulled from the whole thirty year run rather than a dutiful tour through the newest album.

Confusion Is Sex and Bad Moon Rising material sits next to Daydream Nation, EVOL, Sister and the Matador era, with Death Valley '69, Kotton Krown, Sugar Kane and Tom Violence all present. It was mixed from the original multi track tapes rather than a board feed, so the guitars have room and Steve Shelley is actually audible, which is not something you can say about most live Sonic Youth releases.

Two LPs, pressed on hand poured random color vinyl, so no two copies look alike. Add it to your order below.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
