Slowdive - Just For a Day - Vinyl Record
Just for a Day is the debut album from Slowdive, first released by Creation Records in September 1991 and now regarded as a founding document of shoegaze. This reissue presents it on black vinyl.
Led by Neil Halstead and Rachel Goswell, the Reading band arrived with a sound that felt weightless: guitars dissolved into reverb, vocals blended until they became another texture, and songs that drift rather than drive. "Spanish Air" opens the album like a slow sunrise, "Catch the Breeze" and "Celia's Dream" glow at its center, and "Primal" closes it in a haze. More than three decades on, the record has aged beautifully, and later generations of dream pop and ambient artists have embraced its sound.
Whether you already own Souvlaki or are just discovering the band, this is where the story begins. A rewarding listen for any shoegaze or dream pop collection.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
