Sinead O'Connor-Universal Mother - Vinyl Record
Universal Mother was released in September 1994. According to Sinead, it was the first attempt to expose what was really underneath a lot of the anger in her previous albums. The album features sparse, striking, but delicate arrangements on intense and honest songs. Standout moments include the singles "Thank You for Hearing Me" and "Fire on Babylon", along with contributions from Germaine Greer on the opening track "Germaine", and Sinead's son Jake Reynolds on "Am I a Human?". The album also includes a cover of Nirvana's "All Apologies".
LP Tracks: Germaine / Fire On Babylon / John I Love You / My Darling Child / Am I A Human? / Red Football / All Apologies / A Perfect Indian / Scorn Not His Simplicity / All Babies / In This Heart / Tiny Grief Song / "Famine" / Thank You For Hearing Me
Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
Hold up… what were we saying?
