Silversun Pickups - Neck Of The Woods - Vinyl Record
Neck of the Woods is the third album from Los Angeles band Silversun Pickups, and their darkest. Released by Dangerbird in 2012, it was made with producer Jacknife Lee, known for his work with U2, R.E.M. and Snow Patrol, who pushed the band beyond the wall-of-fuzz sound of Carnavas and Swoon.
Brian Aubert wrote much of it while revisiting the Los Angeles neighborhoods he grew up in, and the songs carry that unsettled, haunted feeling. Nikki Monninger's bass and Christopher Guanlao's drums drive standouts like "Bloody Mary (Nerve Endings)" and "The Pit", while electronic textures and slow-burning builds give tracks such as "Simmer" and "Busy Bees" real menace.
This edition spreads the album across a double LP, giving those dense, layered mixes room to breathe. A must for fans of shoegaze-leaning alternative rock and anyone who grew up on Smashing Pumpkins. Set aside an evening and play it loud.

Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
