I’ve Missed You All These Years marks Seattle songwriter Sera Cahoone’s return to Sub Pop, the label behind her albums Only as the Day Is Long and Deer Creek Canyon. Released in August 2026, it arrives on metallic gold vinyl.

The record took shape over eight hard years in which Cahoone lost her father, her best friend and her dog, yet it is anything but a dark album. It is about what comes after the storm, and it sounds like a room full of friends playing together. Piano and electric guitar spark “Say Something,” “Pulling Up Roots” has an easy barroom swing and a pedal steel sigh, and “Hits Right” is a sweet, quietly triumphant highlight.

A former drummer for Carissa’s Wierd and Band of Horses, Cahoone moves easily between folk, country, blues and pop, with echoes of Loretta Lynn and Lucinda Williams along the way. Warm, resilient and full of heart, it is a lovely pressing for fans of Americana and Pacific Northwest songwriting. Put it on and let it lift you.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
