Riki is the Los Angeles-based dark synth-pop band led by Niff Nawor, a visual artist and musician from California's deathrock and anarcho-punk scenes, formerly of Crimson Scarlet, who started Riki in 2017. Her debut 'Hot City' tape featured contributions from Chelsey Crowley, Skot Brown, and Peđa, released on Commodity Tapes and later on vinyl by Symphony of Destruction. Riki then toured with acts like Light Asylum, Black Marble, and Trisomie 21. Her self-titled debut album for Dais explores themes of courage, physicality, and romance across eight synth pop tracks, produced by Matia Simovich. Influences include Neue Deutsch Welle, early Adrian Sherwood, Italo Disco, Japanese Visual Kei, Pat Benatar, Kate Bush, and Madonna. The lead single 'Napoleon' blends 80's New York electro-pop with West Coast storytelling. The second single, 'Böse Lügen,' is a German remix emphasizing its commanding, danceable nature, contrasting the album's romantic tone.
Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
