Pixies - Complete B Sides: 1988-97 - Clear Color Vinyl Record

Coinciding with the band's 40th anniversary, Complete B Sides: 1988-97 by Pixies has been remastered and is being reissued 25 years after its initial release on CD. This marks the first time the release is pressed on vinyl. Collecting all the b-sides from the band's classic 4AD-era, this edition features standout tracks including "Wave of Mutilation (UK Surf)", "Into The White", and "The Thing". Originally released on CD in 2001, Complete B Sides: 1988-97 captured all 19 non-single tracks from the band's remarkable 1988-1991 singles run, plus the instrumental version of "Letter to Memphis". This vinyl edition expands the collection with six live tracks from later Pixies releases, including 1997's Debaser re-release. All tracks have been remastered from original analogue tapes by Kevin Vanbergen, delivering a fresh sonic presentation. Designer Chris Bigg created striking new artwork using previously unreleased photos from Simon Larbalestier's archive, originally intended for the band but shelved. This edition serves as a companion to the recent Live at the BBC compilation, honoring the band's late-visual director, Vaughan Oliver.
