Trip Switch was the breakout, a coiled thing that spent weeks at the top of the American alternative chart. Wake Up Call opens with a snarl before the chorus lifts, Itch has the record's best guitar figure, and If I Get High strips everything back to voice and acoustic and turns out to be the song people still cite first.
