Nina Simone - Little Girl Blue - Green Color Vinyl Record
Little Girl Blue was Nina Simone's very first album and recording. When she was just 25, it was a huge hit that kickstarted an incredible career, resulting in more than 80 studio sessions. After recording these tracks, Simone took a two-year break before returning to the studio for a 1959 session in New York with a big orchestra led by Bob Mercey. She only recorded again with Jimmy Bond and Al Heath during a 1959 concert at Town Hall. Her musical journey concluded in 1993 when she recorded her final sessions with a sextet in Los Angeles. Nina Simone passed away in France on April 21, 2003.
