Mudhoney's Five Dollar Bob's Mock Cooter Stew is a raw seven-track EP originally recorded in a burst of inspiration on August 1, 1993. Arriving between Piece of Cake and My Brother the Cow, it caught fans off guard with some of the band's loosest and most unfiltered performances.
Mark Arm and Steve Turner trade gritty riffs across tracks like "In the Blood" and "Between Me & You Kid," while "No Song III" stretches into one of the EP's most hypnotic moments. The B-side delivers the driving "Make It Now Again" alongside the quick-hit punch of "Underide." It is Mudhoney at their most spontaneous, raw and unapologetic.
This limited yellow color vinyl marks the first physical reissue in over 30 years, complete with the original cover artwork. A must-have for any grunge collection.
