Mary Lattimore - Silver Ladders - Metallic Silver Vinyl Record
Los Angeles-based harpist Mary Lattimore has returned with her highly anticipated album, "Silver Ladders," following the success of her acclaimed record "Hundreds of Days." Since 2018, Lattimore has been touring internationally, collaborating with artists like Meg Baird and Mac McCaughan, and releasing a remix album featuring Jónsi and Julianna Barwick. During a festival, Lattimore met Neil Halstead from Slowdive, and after a conversation, she invited him to produce her next record. Recorded over nine days at Halstead's studio in Cornwall, the album showcases Lattimore's refined signature style with restrained harp layers and accents of low-end synth and guitar. The music balances an ominous atmosphere with vivid wonder, reminiscent of shifting oceanic tones. Lattimore drew inspiration from specific memories, including a surfing poster in Halstead's studio and her experience swimming in Stari Grad, Croatia, which influenced the title track. Another song, "Don't Look," was inspired by a tragic beach incident shared by Halstead. Lattimore's song titles often derive from fragments of heard or misheard phrases, like "Chop on the Climbout," which captures the essence of plane travel. The album is open to interpretation, allowing listeners to connect with their own experiences. Lattimore's craftsmanship shines through, evoking emotions and memories without imposing a definitive narrative. It is a testament to her artistry and confidence as an artist.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
