M83 - Necessary Escape: Dakar Chronicles Soundtrack - Blue Color Vinyl Record
This title is a special-order item and will ship separately from our distributor via USPS Media Mail within the United States. Free and flat-rate shipping promotions do not apply.
Anthony Gonzalez has spent as much time scoring film and television as making M83 albums, and this soundtrack sits firmly in that side of his catalog. Written for the Dakar Chronicles series, it trades the shoegaze guitars of Hurry Up We're Dreaming for wide synthesizer landscapes, slow arpeggios and the kind of enormous reverb that made Oblivion and Knight Of Cups work so well. It is a mood record rather than a singles record, closer to Digital Shades or the quieter passages of Before The Dawn Heals Us. Pressed on blue vinyl, the analog warmth suits the material better than streaming does. A good choice for anyone who loves the ambient side of M83 or wants something instrumental for late listening.
Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
Hold up… what were we saying?
