The Nigerian princesses of afro-funk made a stunning entrance on the international scene with their 1976 album, Dangerous, and they've been captivating audiences ever since. Produced by talented multi-instrumentalist Adeniyi "Biddy" Wright, this six-song LP offers a relaxed vibe filled with dreamy psychedelic guitar melodies, crisp hi-hat shuffles, and beautiful harmony vocals from the twins Taiwo and Kehinde. The 2025 remaster comes beautifully packaged in a deluxe tip-on jacket and features lyrics in both Yoruban and English. Danger, danger—please come on back!
Lijadu Sisters didn't produce as much material as Fela Kuti, Nigeria’s ruling musical monarch during the '70s, but their groove-laden Afro-beat was just as hard-hitting -- and, on their 1976 debut Danger, even more interesting to listeners outside of Africa. - John Bush, Allmusic.com

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
