Valotte is Julian Lennon's 1984 debut album, named after the French château where he wrote many of its songs. Produced by Phil Ramone, with sessions at Muscle Shoals in Alabama, it introduced a gifted songwriter with a voice that drew instant comparisons to his father.

The piano-led title track reached the Billboard top ten, and the wistful "Too Late For Goodbyes" climbed to number five in the US and became a top ten hit in the UK. The album earned Lennon a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, and songs such as "Say You're Wrong", "Jesse" and "O.K. For You" carry the same warm, melodic pop rock.

This is the Japanese edition on Virgin/Charisma, catalogue 28VB-1002. Japanese pressings of the era are prized for their low surface noise, a natural match for the album's piano and polished studio sound.

A lovely pickup for fans of melodic eighties pop rock.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
