Jens Lekman was inspired to create music that would distinguish him from his Swedish pop peers. He experimented with sampling using his father's old cassette recorder and produced songs that were romantic and humorous, with orchestral arrangements and influences from obscure vinyl records. After gaining popularity through file-sharing sites, he signed with Secretly Canadian Records in 2003 and released several well-received EPs and albums, including the critically acclaimed Night Falls Over Kortedala in 2007. However, his earlier works, Oh You're So Silent Jens and Night Falls Over Kortedala, are no longer available in their original form. Lekman has remade them into The Cherry Trees Are Still In Blossom and The Linden Trees Are Still In Blossom, respectively, with new versions of some tracks and previously unreleased material. The new albums are a tribute to Lekman's past and a way to connect listeners to a different era of music-making.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.

Hold up… what were we saying?
