Howard Jones - Dream Into Action - Japanese Vintage Vinyl
Howard Jones followed his breakthrough debut with Dream Into Action in 1985, a brighter, brassier synth-pop record produced by Rupert Hine and recorded at Farmyard Studios in England. The TKO Horns and backing singers Caron Wheeler and Claudia Fontaine push his sequencers toward soul and funk, while the songs stay optimistic and hook-driven.
It opens with the hit single "Things Can Only Get Better" and the bouncy "Life In One Day", and it carries the original album version of "No One Is To Blame", a year before Jones re-recorded it with Phil Collins producing for the hit single.
This is the original 1985 Japanese release on WEA, catalogue P-13086, made by Warner-Pioneer under license. Collectors seek out Japanese editions of mid-eighties pop records for their careful presentation and quiet vinyl.
A strong pickup for any eighties synth-pop shelf.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
