Hooverphonic have been one of Belgium's most quietly influential exports since forming in Sint-Niklaas in 1995 — originally as Hoover, until a name change spared them a fight with two other bands and a vacuum cleaner company. Founders Alex Callier and Raymond Geerts have anchored the group through a revolving cast of singers, and their sound has drifted from the sample-heavy trip-hop of their debut to lush, orchestral pop without ever losing its cinematic melancholy.

This 16-track collection gathers that whole arc onto a single LP: the era-defining "Mad About You," the noir storytelling of "Jackie Cane," "The World Is Mine," and orchestral readings of Massive Attack's "Unfinished Sympathy" and their own "Happiness." It's the most efficient way to hear why this band scored the UEFA Euro 2000 theme, became the first Belgian act to headline Rock Werchter, and eventually carried Belgium to Eurovision.

Pressed on 180-gram grey vinyl by Sony Music.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
