Graham Hunt does not stop making records. Since 2019 the Madison, Wisconsin songwriter has built a dense catalogue at a pace matched only by its quality, and American Pyramid is his sixth album. This time he left the homespun, computer-bound approach behind and took a nine-piece band into Pachyderm Studio in Minnesota, the room behind Nirvana's In Utero, PJ Harvey's Rid Of Me, Bully's Sugaregg and Beach House's Once Twice Melody.

The sessions gave him the maximalist half of the record. Back home, more songs arrived, and the album lives in that duality. The Pachyderm rave-up Riverboat Blues slides straight into the bedroom-recorded Dust Underwater, both escapist and surreal. Getting Older sits mid-album as the most grounded thing here and the most instantly satisfying guitar pop. Few writers would try Westerberg-style everyman rock alongside gonzo autotuned vocal runs, and fewer would land it.

This is the Midwest Edition, pressed on blue color vinyl with a screenprinted sleeve.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
