Goat - Commune - Jade Blue Color Vinyl Record
Commune is the second album from mysterious Swedish psych collective Goat and their first for Sub Pop, originally released in 2014. This new pressing comes on jade blue vinyl, limited to 1,000 copies.
Goat perform in masks and claim roots in the remote Swedish village of Korpilombolo, but the music says more than any origin story. Building on the acclaimed World Music, Commune fuses heavy psychedelic rock with Afrobeat grooves, krautrock repetition and Anatolian funk into one hypnotic, ritualistic whole. Opener “Talk to God” sets the tone with a layered percussive groove, and from there the album rolls through acidic riffs, chanted incantations and serpentine guitar lines all the way to the closing “Gathering of Ancient Tribes.”
A high point of the 2010s psych revival and a record that rewards playing loud. Grab this colour edition for your collection.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
