458489 A Sides gathers seventeen singles The Fall released on Beggars Banquet between 1984 and 1989, the years many fans call the band's golden era. First issued in 1990, it was pressed on vinyl in the US for the first time in 2018, here on white vinyl.

This was the period when guitarist Brix Smith joined Mark E. Smith's Manchester group and brought a sharper pop hook to their wiry, abrasive sound. The result is some of the most accessible music The Fall ever made, without losing any of its bite. "Oh! Brother" and "C.R.E.E.P." open the set with jittery energy, "Cruiser's Creek" and "Hit the North (Part 1)" became signature songs, and the band's covers of R. Dean Taylor's "There's a Ghost in My House" and The Kinks' "Victoria" gave them rare chart success. It closes with the gloriously odd "Jerusalem" and "Dead Beat Descendant."

For anyone curious about The Fall, there is no better place to start, and for longtime fans it is an essential piece of the collection.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
