Explosions In The Sky - The Rescue (Anniversary Edition) - Vinyl Record
The Rescue is one of the most personal releases in the Explosions in the Sky catalogue. Its eight pieces, titled simply "Day One" through "Day Eight," capture a short, intense burst of creativity, and the band's own hand-written account of how it came together is printed on the jacket and inner sleeve.
The music is quieter and more intimate than their big crescendo-driven albums, with gentle guitar figures and atmospheric textures that drift and unfold like diary entries. It shows the band's gift for melodies that feel both hopeful and bittersweet.
This Anniversary Edition from Temporary Residence has been remastered from the original 24-bit stereo mixes and pressed on 100% virgin vinyl at Record Technology Inc., in a full-colour jacket with a heavyweight inner sleeve. A must for completists and a lovely, reflective listen for anyone who loves instrumental music.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
