Ella Fitzgerald - Ella Wishes You a Swinging Christmas (Deluxe) 2LP GOLD Color Vinyl Record
Ella Fitzgerald recorded Ella Wishes You A Swinging Christmas for Verve in the summer of 1960, with Frank DeVol arranging and conducting a bright studio orchestra. Her only full Christmas album of secular holiday songs, it swings through "Jingle Bells", "Sleigh Ride", "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" and "Frosty The Snowman" with infectious joy, then slows down for a tender "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" and "The Christmas Song".
This Deluxe Edition from Verve and UMe brings every one of Ella's holiday recordings for Verve and Decca together for the first time. The second LP collects the 1959 Verve single "The Secret Of Christmas", alternative takes of "The Christmas Song", "White Christmas" and "Frosty The Snowman", and her Decca sides, including "Holiday In Harlem" with Chick Webb's orchestra, "Baby, It's Cold Outside" with Louis Jordan and two duets with Louis Armstrong. Six of these tracks appear on vinyl for the first time.
Pressed on translucent gold vinyl, this edition adds a Will Friedwald essay and cut-out ornaments for the tree. As festive to look at as it is to hear.

Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
