Dickies - Stukas Over Disneyland- YELLOW Color Vinyl Record *

Few punk bands have ever been as much fun as the Dickies. Formed in the San Fernando Valley in the late 1970s, they played at breakneck speed with a cartoonish sense of humor, and Stukas Over Disneyland, first released in 1983, captures them at their most gleefully unhinged.

Leonard Graves Phillips and Stan Lee rip through originals like "Rosemary," "She's a Hunchback" and the title track, then turn their attention to other people's songs. Led Zeppelin's "Communication Breakdown" gets flattened into a breathless sprint and the theme from the TV western "Wagon Train" receives the full Dickies treatment, proof that nothing was safe from their buzzsaw guitars.

This Cleopatra Records reissue adds three bonus rarities recorded in the early 1980s and long out of print: "I'm Okay, You're Okay," "Bedrock Barney" and their take on "Gigantor." It comes with a printed inner sleeve and is pressed on bright yellow color vinyl. A loud, funny and essential piece of Los Angeles punk history for any collection.
