Death Cab for Cutie- The Photo Album 180g Vinyl
The Photo Album, from October 2001, is the third Death Cab for Cutie album and the only full length with drummer Michael Schorr. It produced their first charting songs, "A Movie Script Ending," "I Was A Kaleidoscope" and "We Laugh Indoors," and it is the record where Ben Gibbard's writing sharpens into something meaner and funnier than the first two albums. "Styrofoam Plates" remains one of the angriest things he has ever put on tape. This edition uses the Joao Carvalho remaster, cut for vinyl by Joe Nino-Hernes at Sterling Sound, and includes a twelve page booklet reproducing the photos from the original 2001 double CD artwork, plus "Gridlock Caravans" restored to the sequence.
