On October 13, 2023, Melbourne’s beloved Camp Cope joyfully performed their farewell show in front of a heartfelt, sold-out crowd at the renowned Sydney Opera House Concert Hall. Two years later, Run For Cover & Poison City Records have warmly shared The Final Show - Live at Sydney Opera House, celebrating this unforgettable moment when the band played together for the last time. The vinyl edition of this special release features nine heartfelt songs from that final concert, including favorites from each of their cherished albums. You’ll hear tunes like “Lost (Season One)” from their debut, along with songs from 2018’s How to Socialise Make Friends and their touching 2022 farewell, Running with the Hurricane. Everything that makes Camp Cope’s music so meaningful is here — Kelly-Dawn Hellmrich on bass and Sarah Thompson on drums create a perfect groove, while guitarist Jennifer Aslett adds even more mood behind Georgia Maq’s powerful vocals. The band is joined by special guests like Julia Jacklin on “The Screaming Planet,” and friends such as Rin McArdle and Courtney Hartmann sing along on “Sing Your Heart Out,” making it a true celebration. Camp Cope beautifully closes their final show with “The Opener,” a song inspired by their brave journey navigating a male-dominated music scene. Hellmrich’s iconic bass line kicks off this extended version, played for over ten minutes with a chorus of friends and fans singing along. As the song reaches its emotional climax, the lyrics about overcoming dismissiveness — “see how far we’ve come not listening to you” — feel like a triumphant fulfillment of their journey.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
