boygenius - the rest - 10" Transparent Yellow Color Vinyl Record EP
Released a few months after the record, boygenius' the rest gathers four songs from the same 2023 sessions and proves the trio had more to give. Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus once again pass the lead vocal between them, each song shaped by the close harmonies and sharp, confessional writing that made their debut album one of the most celebrated records of the year.
The mood here is hushed and nocturnal. "Black Hole" drifts in on hazy synths, "Afraid of Heights" is a stripped-back Dacus song about choosing a careful life, "Voyager" is a fragile Bridgers ballad, and "Powers" builds from a low hum into something huge and cathartic. It plays like an epilogue rather than a collection of outtakes.
This edition is a 10-inch, 45 RPM pressing on transparent yellow vinyl, a bright little companion piece that pairs neatly with the record on any indie shelf. Essential for fans of the trio and of their solo work.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
