Remedy is the 1999 debut album from Basement Jaxx, the Brixton duo of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe, and one of the records that defined late 90s UK dance music. Born in the duo's raucous Brixton club nights, it throws house, garage, disco, Latin rhythms and ragga into the same pot and somehow makes it all sound like a party.

The hits still land instantly. "Red Alert" rides its slap bass and squelching synths into one of the decade's great dance singles, "Rendez-Vu" brings flamenco guitar to the dancefloor, and "Jump N' Shout" and "Bingo Bango" turn the energy up to full. Short interludes link the tracks so the album flows like a DJ set.

This XL Recordings edition spreads the album across two LPs pressed on limited gold color vinyl, with the artist and title debossed and foil-blocked on the jacket and printed inner sleeves. A bright addition to any dance shelf.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
