Basement - I Wish I Could Stay Here - Yellow Splatter Color Vinyl Record
Basement's debut album I Wish I Could Stay Here returns on yellow splatter vinyl from Run For Cover Records. The Ipswich band formed in 2010 and released this record just a year later, and its blend of melodic hardcore grit and emotional, hook-heavy alternative rock quickly won them fans on both sides of the Atlantic.
Mixed and mastered by Jesse Cannon, the album is raw and urgent but never short on melody. "Fading" opens with a rush, "Plan To Be Surprised" and "Canada Square" pair crunching guitars with sing-along choruses, and "Crickets Throw Their Voice" shows how much feeling the band could pack into a few short minutes. The second half closes on the slow-burning "Grayscale" and "March", a reminder of why this record still sits at the heart of 2010s emo and pop-punk.
The bright yellow splatter makes this pressing a standout on any shelf. A must for Basement fans and anyone who grew up on Title Fight, Citizen and Turnover.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
