Music for Masses 는 영국의 전자 음악 밴드 Depeche Mode 의 여섯 번째 스튜디오 앨범 입니다. 1987년 9월 28일에 발매되었다. 밴드 멤버인 Andy Fletcher와 Martin Gore는 둘 다 이 앨범의 제목이 농담으로 생각되었다고 설명했다. Fletcher는 "제목이 ... 약간 우스꽝스럽습니다. 모두가 우리가 더 상업적인 음악을 만들어야 한다고 말하고 그래서 우리가 그 제목을 선택한 이유입니다."라고 말했습니다. Gore에 따르면 제목은 "[앨범]의 비상업성에 대한 농담이었습니다. 대중을 위한 음악이 아니었습니다!"
