February 1985 caught U2 at the hinge point of their career. The Unforgettable Fire was out, Live Aid was five months away, and the band were still playing halls rather than stadiums. This unauthorized release takes the FM broadcast of their night at the Teatro Tenda in Bologna on February 5, 1985.

The set is short and unusually well chosen. 11 O'Clock Tick Tock and I Will Follow open at full speed, then the title track and A Sort Of Homecoming bring in the atmospheric Eno and Lanois textures the band were still learning to reproduce live. Side two belongs to the long forms: October at the piano, New Year's Day, Pride, and a Bad that stretches out the way it always did before Bono let the crowd finish it. Gloria closes. Radio source, so the Edge's delay work comes through with the detail audience tapes flatten out.
