Modest Mouse es una banda estadounidense de indie rock formada en 1993 en Washington. Desde su debut en 1996, su formación se ha centrado en el cantante, letrista y guitarrista Isaac Brock, el baterista Jeremiah Green y el bajista Eric Judy. Nada menos que Johnny Marr, ex guitarrista de The Smiths, se unió a la banda en 2006 durante 3 años.
