Picture Disc Vinyl LP Pressing of Purple Rain

One of the defining releases of the '80s – along with Michael Jackson's Thriller and Bruce Springsteen's Born in the U.S.A. Purple Rain elevated Prince from cult hero to superstar. And now, it can be experienced on vinyl like never before on this audiophile 180g LP pressing mastered at Paisley Park from the stereo master tapes by Bernie Grundman. The artist himself supervised. Ranked 72nd on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, the 1984 blockbuster includes electrifying performances by Prince and the Revolution – his racially and sexually integrated band, which counted among its members guitarist Wendy Melvoin, keyboardists Matt Fink and Lisa Coleman, bassist Brown Mark and drummer Bobby Z.

Purple Rain dominated the charts for more than a year and spawned four hits: "When Doves Cry" (#1), "Let's Go Crazy" (#1), "Purple Rain" (#2), "I Would Die 4 U" (#8) and "Take Me With You" (#25). The DNA of
Prince's masterpiece can be felt throughout pop culture at large to this very day. A timeless body of work with an immortal resonance, Purple Rain stands as one of the foremost high watermarks in an unparalleled career, changing the worlds of film and music.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.

Hold up… what were we saying?
