Unknown Mortal Orchestra - II Vinyl Record
Unknown Mortal Orchestra's second album, II, arrived on Jagjaguwar in 2013 and cemented the Portland-via-Auckland project as one of indie rock's most distinctive voices. Ruban Nielson wrote much of it after long stretches on the road, and the songs carry that mix of isolation and restlessness, wrapped in warm, slightly warped production that sounds like a well-loved tape.
Psychedelic rock, lo-fi funk and smooth R&B blur together here. "Swim and Sleep (Like a Shark)" floats on a dreamy groove and a melody that sticks for days, "So Good at Being in Trouble" is a slinky, heartbroken soul jam, and "One at a Time" and the sprawling "Monki" push into heavier, hazier territory.
A must for fans of Tame Impala, Mac DeMarco and Ariel Pink, and a great place to start with UMO. Spin it front to back and you will hear why it remains a cult favourite.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
