Space Pirate Captain Harlock is where Leiji Matsumoto's most enduring character got his sound, and this 1978 Columbia album collects the opening, ending and insert songs from the television series. Seiji Yokoyama arranged the score and Masaaki Hirao wrote the songs, with Ichiro Mizuki delivering the theme in the full-throated anime style that defined the decade. Anyone chasing Japanese animation soundtracks on original vinyl knows how rarely these turn up outside Japan. This is an original Japanese pressing, catalogue CS-7070 on Nippon Columbia. One copy only, graded as received.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
