Uncle Anesthesia was Screaming Trees' major-label debut, first released on Epic in 1991 and reissued here by Music On Vinyl on 180-gram audiophile vinyl.

Recorded at London Bridge Studio in Seattle in 1990, with Soundgarden's Chris Cornell sharing production duties alongside Terry Date, the album sharpened the band's psychedelic garage sound without sanding off its edges. Mark Lanegan's deep, weathered baritone anchors the songs, while Gary Lee Conner's swirling guitar leads and the rumbling rhythm section of Van Conner and Mark Pickerel push them forward. "Bed of Roses" was the single and still sounds huge, and tracks like "Beyond This Horizon", "Uncle Anesthesia" and "Ocean of Confusion" show a band hitting its stride just before Seattle exploded.

An essential piece of the grunge story that often gets overlooked. Fans of Lanegan's later solo work will find plenty to love here.

Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
